This card is from Finland and its yet another beautiful snow scene and that too,  a multi view snow scene card. The card’s views seem to be Russian because its written Russian Kylpyla on it.

Edit: As it was pointed out to me, its NOT Russian Kylpyla, but Ruissalon Kylpyla and Ruissalo is in a beautiful town of Turku in Finland 🙂 Phew! Thanks for pointing it out Sartenada.

The stamps are really beautiful, but its the Priority sticker that stole my heart. The kitty is just too cute 🙂

Who can resist a captivating Dali card? I can’t, for sure. This card by Salvador Dali is titled, Girl at the Window, 1925. I love how the sea is just beyond the window and even though a painting, we feel the sea through it… If we look closely, we can see an yacht. Its amazing how much attention is given to the littlest of details. The folds of the curtain and the dress of the girl, her hair, the shadows and so on it goes.

Ahh, I don’t think I can ever get tired of snow scenes and landscapes. The picture on this card is just so magical. The sunlight shining through the trees and just illuminating the water with the contrast of snow is breathtaking.

On the bottom corner of the card is written – Eis auf der Schmalkalde im Thüringer Wald. According to Google translate, it reads as : Ice on the Schmalkalde im  Thüringer forest.

This gorgeous pride of big cats card came from The Netherlands. I love the picture of the lion and the lionesses lounging in the Kalahari peacefully. Its always so much better to see these beasts in the wild than caged.

Description : Lions of the Kalahari – The magnificent Kalahari Lion is larger, longer and lighter in colour, except for his black mane, than his counterpart found elsewhere in Southern Africa.

I love the stamp with the priority attached to it. The words on the stamp translated reads, “Think green for a green world”.

This multi view card (my first multi view card!) is from Oberhausen in the West of Germany. It features :
Burg Vondern
Gasometer
Kastell Holten
Amtsgericht

It’s so fascinating to look at each and every bit of architecture that forms a part of Oberhausen and its personality. My favorite of the group is Burg Vondern 🙂

P. S. The links in German – I couldn’t find their English counterparts, or any site about them in English, sorry 😦

Another wonderful card from USA. This time its that of the United States Capitol with yet another type of round scalloped stamp 🙂

Description: United States Capitol – The United States Capitol is among the architecturally impressive and symbolically important buildings in the world. It has housed the meeting chambers of the Senate and the House of Representatives for over two centuries.
